At Lebron James’ homecoming last December 2, 2010 in Cleveland, there was anticipation if has the guts to do his pregame throwing-up-chalk-in-the-air ritual.
Apparently, he had. He even burned his former team in the 3rd quarter scoring 24 points on a sizzling 10-for-12 shooting to finish with 38 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds, despite not playing in the 4th quarter and getting the win 118-90.
In his second homecoming yesterday, Lebron himself expected that fan reception of him will not be as bad as that first one.

In his first seven years in the NBA while playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lebron James has a pregame ritual where he goes in front of the scorer’s table, faces the crowd and throws crushed chalk in the air to create a small cloud of powder.
In his first game back at Cleveland on December 2 while donning the Miami Heat uniform, there was widespread speculation that he will skip that thing amidst concerns for his safety due to a very hostile environment.

The King is coming back to where he first started his reign.
However, a royal treatment is not to be expected.
Amidst all the hoopla, Lebron James made a decision last summer to leave Cleveland for Miami. Immediately, there was an unfavorable response especially among Cleveland citizens as fans burned his jersey while Cavaliers majority owner Dan Gilbert posted an open letter calling James “our former hero”, a coward and a traitor.

The rumor that Shaq is going to Boston is true after all.
Shaquille O’Neal has agreed today to play for the Boston Celtics for two years for the veteran minimum of $2.8 million.
With Shaq’s addition, the team now has four future Hall-of-Famers in its roster with Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.
