Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir returns to the Octagon to embark on a new title quest this September 25, 2010.
Mir was supposed to meet former interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira but the latter had to pull out of his bout due to a recurring hip injury that will require surgery.
Stepping on to the plate for Nogueira is Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović.
The two will headline UFC 119: Mir vs Cro Cop LIVE from the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
UFC 119: Mir vs Cro Cop featured former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir against one of the most feared strikers in MMA history, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic.
The event was scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2010 held at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
