OMG! Cotto’s Face is a Bloody Mess

From the looks of it, Miguel Cotto might have been hit by a freight train.

Actually, it’s the Pacman Express who made Cotto’s face a bloody mess. His eyes were almost shut due to the swelling and blood was flowing from his nose and cuts.

It was definitely a gruesome sight that after the ninth round, Cotto’s wife and kid who were by the ringside left the arena as they could not take the beating any longer.

After 12 rounds of punishment, referee Kenny Bayless finally put a stop to Manny Pacquiao’s continuous barrage of punches to Cotto’s face in their boxing match held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on November 14, 2009.

Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto Highlights

After 12 rounds of non-stop barrage of punches from Pacquiao that made Cotto’s face a bloody mess, referee Kenny Bayless mercilessly stepped-in to stop the carnage.

At their boxing match dubbed as “Firepower” on November 14 (November 15, Sunday here in the Philippines) at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Manny Pacquiao left no doubt on who is the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world.

He also captured Cotto’s WBO welterweight belt and most importantly, he captured his seventh championship belt in seven weight divisions. That’s no small feat considering that he is the only boxer in history to have ever done so.
