HBO’s 24/7 series for the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Victor Ortiz bout finally had its premiere episode last August 27, 2011.
In that episode, we are given a glimpse of how Victor Ortiz and his brother survived after being abandoned by their parents and how Danny Garcia became his trainer.
But the Mayweathers made it known that 24/7 is their show when father and son, Floyd Jr. and Sr. engaged in a profanity-laced verbal tirade against each other.
In the premiere episode of HBO’s Emmy award winning documentary reality series 24/7 featuring Floyd “Pretty Boy” Mayweather, Jr. and Victor “Vicious” Ortiz, we get to see a glimpse of each fighter’s preparation for their mega fight.
As what happened with the previous nine 24/7 installations, we’ll expect to see the boxers open training camp after their press tour all over the USA. Mayweather holds camp at his Mayweather Boxing Gym at Las Vegas while Mosley at Oxnard, California.
HBO’s 24/7, the multiple Emmy award winning documentary reality series is back for its tenth installment with a four-episode, all-access series featuring Floyd “Pretty Boy” Mayweather, Jr. and Victor “Vicious” Ortiz.
As part of the promotion for the Mayweather vs Ortiz bout titled “Star Power”, HBO will film a TV special that focuses on each fighter’s training and preparation for the bout as well as a glimpse of their personal lives.
Episode 3 of HBO’s Pacquiao-Margarito 24/7 shows Manny Pacquiao more serious and focused in his training and sparring sessions although distractions still come his way.
Pacquiao’s popularity has already transcended boxing that he is now invited to events not related to boxing.
An example is an appearance on the American primetime television talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC where Manny Pacquiao and Will Ferrell sing “Imagine”.
