The first WEC event to take place in Ohio is coming to town!
WEC 47: Bowles vs Cruz takes place on March 6, 2010 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
It coincides with the popular Arnold Sports Festival.
In the main event, Brian Bowles is set to defend his World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) Bantamweight Championship belt against number one contender Dominick “Dominator” Cruz.

Since then, his career is spiraling down as he only compiled a 4-8 win-loss record in his last 12 fights and is on a current losing streak of 4.
At WEC 47: Bowles vs Cruz on March 6, 2010 at in Columbus, Ohio, USA, he will try to salvage his career fighting Javier “Showtime” Vazquez in a featherweight bout.
