First appearing as a fake trailer in the B-movie Grindhouse, Machete is now a full-length film co-written, produced, and directed by Robert Rodriguez.
The actor who played the character named Machete in the Spy Kids movie series, Danny Trejo also plays the title character Machete in this one although the two characters are not really related to each other.
Surprisingly for a B-movie, Machete actually features an all-star supporting cast with Steven Seagal and Robert de Niro.
However, what might incline me to watch the movie is because of the hot Michelle Rodriguez, the hotter Jessica Alba and the sizzling hot Lindsay Lohan who reportedly goes topless in the film while swimming in a waterfall.

With an ensemble cast of its own, Takers is going to make a run for The Expendables at the box-office.
Although the movie’s cast are not as big as The Expendables, it’s not shabby either.
Starring Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen, Chris Brown and Zoë Saldaña among others, Takers though is not a men-on-a-mission type of movie. Rather, it is a heist/caper movie along the line of Ocean’s Eleven and The Italian Job.
It’s also interesting to see how singer Chris Brown will fare in his first action movie.
Takers is directed by John Luessenhop and produced by William Packer for a budget of $32 million.

In the tradition of The Exorcist and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, another movie about demonic possession will hit the big screen: The Last Exorcism.
Just by looking at the movie poster, I know this movie is bound to scare the hell out of us.
And this one is produced by Eli Roth, so we’ll expect it to be more hardcore that its predecessors.
It also offers a different twist as the film is presented as “found footage” ala-The Blair Witch Project.
The Last Exorcism stars Patrick Fabian as Reverend Cotton Marcus, Iris Bahr as Iris and Louis Herthum as Louis Sweetzer.

When I first heard about Piranha 3D, I dismissed it as another one of those B-movie horror flicks.
However, when I read that a 9-minute footage of the movie was supposed to be shown at the San Diego Comic-Con International last July 24, 2010 but was canceled at the last-minute, I became curious and watched the Piranha 3D banned trailer.
That’s when I realized that this movie is something.
With thousands of 3D fishes with razor-sharp teeth, a lake full of boobies became full of blood.
Cables snapping and splitting a woman in two and a motorboat propeller ripping someone’s face off also contributed to the carnage.
I think this movie will go down as one of the most bizarre and gory films ever.

From the guys who couldn’t sit through another vampire movie, here’s a spoof of The Twilight Saga movies: Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse.
The director and screenwriter team of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer come back to make another parody film after Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans and Disaster Movie.
And just like those previous movies, expect Vampires Suck to… well, suck.
What can you expect from a parody film anyway?
I suggest you to just sit back, let yourself loose and prepare to laugh at the never absent fart jokes, a shirtless wolf pack dancing to “It’s Raining Men” and Jacob turning into a… chihuahua?

The Expendables is a can’t miss testosterone-filled movie.
Its all-star ensemble consist of Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis.
If you don’t consider that as impressive, I don’t know what is.
For the first time ever, three of the biggest Hollywood action stars in Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Willis will be featured in one scene in the movie to set up the film’s plot.
Stallone plays as Barney Ross, the leader of the Expendables; Willis as Mr. Church, the man who hires the Expendables and Schwarzenegger as Trench, the former leader of the original Expendables.
