Lewis Carroll is actually the pseudonym of English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.
The author is noted for his facility at word play, logic, and fantasy. He writes under the literary nonsense genre which refers to a style or motif in literature that plays with the conventions of language and the rules of logic and reason via sensical and non-sensical elements. The effect of nonsense is often caused by an excess of meaning, rather than a lack of it.
His best novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass are considered as classics. They are famous for quotes uttered by its various peculiar and anthropomorphic characters so much so that they became part of popular culture.

It is the 2010 rehash of the Lewis Carroll novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.
Alice in Wonderland stars the equally eccentric and Tim Burton favorite, actor Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Their constant collaboration reminds me of Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio who has Shutter Island as their latest project.
