The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s third-ever UFC Fan Expo was held last August 27-28 at the Hynes Convention Center, a short trip from TD Garden, in Boston which hosted UFC 118.
At the event, NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal made his first public appearance as a member of the Boston Celtics after he signed with the team as a free agent.
The Big Shamrock brought with him team mate Glen “Big Baby” Davis.

In an interview with Dan Patrick, UFC President Dana White said that the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar center Shaquille O’Neal has been ‘terrorizing’ him for years to fight in the UFC.
Seems like Dana finally gave in to Shaq’s demand. Albeit, not in the ‘real’ world.
In the virtual world of video games, Shaq and his deadly Shaq-urikin has already appeared in Shaq-Fu which was released in 1994 by Sega.
In the newly released UFC Undisputed 2010, O’Neal appears as a secret character that will be unlocked once you enter the proper combination of cheat codes.

Shaquille O’Neal has always been known as a prankster and a clown. Always trying to be funny and to be the life of the party. When he challenged giant MMA fighter Hong Man Choi to a fight in this video, I don’t know if he is really serious or this is just one of his jokes.

Outside of the basketball court, Shaq can rap, dance, act and tweet. He even works as a reserve law enforcer. So why not fight in an MMA event?
