On March 31, 2010 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Takanori “Fireball Kid” Gomi will make his UFC debut against Kenny “Ken-Flo” Florian.
The two headlines the UFC Fight Night 21: Florian vs. Gomi. This is a side-event for the UFC and is shown on free TV (Spike TV channel) as the preliminary for The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 premiere.
The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 winner Roy “The Big Country” Nelson is such a character that after knocking-out Brendan “The Hybrid” Schaub in the TUF 10 Finale, Nelson climbed the top of the Octagon ring and proudly showed the world his belly. That was after he entered the arena to the tune of Weird Al Yankovic’s “Fat”; a parody of the Michael Jackson song “Bad”.
In the co-main event for UFC Fight Night 21: Florian vs. Gomi, Nelson will make his second UFC outing against Stefan “The Skyscraper” Struve
UFC Fight Night 21 is the third UFC event in just 2 weeks following UFC Live: Vera vs Jones on Versus and UFC 111: St-Pierre vs Hardy.

On March 31, 2010 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kenny “Ken-Flo” Florian and Takanori “Fireball Kid” Gomi will clash in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 21: Florian vs. Gomi.
This will be the third time the UFC has held an event in Charlotte, but the first since UFC 5; hence the heading: UFC Returns to North Carolina.
Florian returns to the Octagon after nailing Clay “The Carpenter” Guida at UFC 107. On the other hand, this is Gomi’s UFC debut.
